At Westminster Magistrates’ Court, parts of Prince Andrew’s witness statement were read aloud. He says he noticed an unfamiliar car near his home on May 6 and initially assumed it was paparazzi. He and his security drove past and then spotted a man in a balaclava who turned, recognised him and, Andrew says, began to sprint after his vehicle. He also reported seeing a loose dog run toward the man and said the episode made him fear unlawful violence.
